A late night drive turned deadly after a teen had been reportedly drinking. Driving under the influence a leading cause of many car accidents in Massachusetts and elsewhere, which is what appears to have happened in this case. The crash occurred when a 19-year-old driver was allegedly driving under the influence and crashed into a pole. Authorities performed an investigation into the accident and placed the teenage driver under arrest for multiple charges.

Sexual assault on any person is never excusable. The crime of sexual abuse, in Massachusetts or anywhere, can be particularly horrendous when a child is the victim. The child, as well as the family, is usually left traumatized and seeking justice. A 49-year-old man that was accused of sexually assaulting a child back in the 1990s has now been found guilty.

Child sexual abuse has a profound effect on those victims in Massachusetts who have ever had to go through such an awful ordeal. An 83-year-old woman who loved to maintain her gardens is dead, and the police are still looking for the driver who allegedly killed her. The woman was crossing the street near her home when she was added to the growing list of victims of car accidents in Massachusetts. A dark colored vehicle was reportedly seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed. The woman was a Salem resident, and it is unknown at this time who the driver was that hit her.

In an accident that appears to have happened because of a driver’s failure to yield the right of way, a motorcyclist from Salem was badly injured last week. The bike’s collision with a Jeep Cherokee pinned the man between the vehicles, and his leg was so seriously injured that a rescue helicopter had to be called.
