According to reports, witnesses observed a vehicle that appeared to be speeding on Westford Street in the vicinity of Marlborough Street. The vehicle was heavily damaged in the front end, and its front windshield was almost completely smashed.
A traffic accident that occurred on I-291 eastbound overnight left one person dead and one injured. The accident happened after a tractor trailer had pulled over between exits 4 and 5. A 2011 Nissan Altima driven by a 22-year-old hit the back of the truck after moving across a lane marker. The 25-year-old passenger in the car was pronounced dead on the scene.
