2 dead, 1 critically injured in Massachusetts crash

According to law enforcement in Massachusetts, a one-vehicle accident left two men dead and one critically injured in the evening hours of June 24. The accident happened on Monson Road in Wilbraham. Police say that a vehicle carrying the three men was headed west on Monson Road around 9 p.m. when it crashed into a guardrail and a utility pole. The car then rolled over. The accident occurred near Bolles Road on a curve that is considered tricky to maneuver. Neighbors report that this was not the first fatal car accident at this location. All three men were ejected from the vehicle, and police do not believe any of them were wearing seatbelts. Two of the men, a 19-year-old and a 23-year-old from Wilbraham, were killed. A 24-year-old from Springfield was listed in critical condition, and sources indicated he might need surgery. Police continue to investigate the accident, and they are trying to determine which of the men was driving the vehicle at the time of the crash.
