Man dies in 2-car crash

A man in Massachusetts was killed after being involved in a two-car collision in Foxborough on April 18. The deceased victim, a 61-year-old man from Millis, was one of the drivers in the accident. Authorities reported the accident the day that it happened and then confirmed that one of the drivers had died the following day.

On April 9, a crash that occurred in Massachusetts left one person dead and three others injured. The accident took place at about 11 p.m. near the 500 block of Union Street in Weymouth.

NSC targets cellphone use in April campaign

Auto showrooms in Massachusetts are packed with vehicles containing all manner of sophisticated electronic equipment. While accident avoidance systems and other electronic safety features may be designed to save lives, equipment that informs or entertains drivers could actually make the nation’s roads more dangerous. The National Safety Council says that most American drivers assume that GPS, audio and communications features are perfectly safe to use while behind the wheel, and the nonprofit organization has decided to spend April trying to correct such misconceptions and remind motorists of the dangers of distracted driving.
