Father of deceased actor filed lawsuit against Porsche

As Massachusetts residents may know, actor Paul Walker died in a Porsche accident in 2013. After his friend, who was driving the vehicle, lost control, the car hit several trees and caught fire. In the wrongful death lawsuit that Walker’s daughter filed, she claimed that the Porsche did not have the proper safeguards to keep the car from igniting upon collision. Porsche takes no responsibility for the deaths, saying that the vehicle had received improper maintenance and that it had been altered. Porsche believes these factors were contributory in men’s deaths, along with the vehicle’s speed. Investigators in the crash believe the vehicle was traveling at high speeds when the accident occurred.Fatal accidents may occur as the result of vehicle defects or the negligence of another driver.
