Chain-reaction accident temporarily closes interstate

Around 2:50 p.m. on September 10, five people suffered minor injuries in an accident that happened on the Braga Bridge in Fall River, Massachusetts. The eastbound lanes of Interstate 195 were clogged for about 45 minutes after the accident, but the middle lane was reopened after two of the eastbound lanes had been shut down.According to a state trooper, the accident involved six vehicles that were traveling in the left lane. The vehicle at the front of the line slowed down, and the other cars following the first vehicle crashed into each other. A Jeep Cherokee and five cars were among them. The two cars that were damaged the most ended up hitting bridge’s dividing barrier. Investigations into accidents can point toward the parties that may have been responsible for them. Authorities may discover that a party to an accident was driving drunk or texting while driving, which would be instances of negligent behavior.
